Thursday 5th May 2022 is International Day of the Midwife and in 2022 celebrates the theme of 100 years of progress.
We’ve a display in the Peter Marsh Library to celebrate this and our fabulous Midwifery programme here at University of Bolton. You can find out more about the day and some of the themes by visiting the International Confederation of Midwives and the Royal College of Midwives.
Visit The Peter Marsh Library and have a look at some of the books and research papers from our collections as you can see below.
You can find out more about the subject specific resources for Midwifery on our dedicated Midwifery Library Guide.
If you are interested in accessing some of the research highlighted on our display, search Discover@Bolton to access online content from journals such as The Practising Midwife, British Journal of Midwifery and ebooks such as ‘The Students Guide to becoming a Midwife’.
As ever, if you need any help accessing Library resources you can speak to a member of staff at the desk in the Library or contact us via the Library Chat service or book a one to one appointment.
