As part of creating a DMP Online account you will need to select The University of Bolton as your institution.
Once you've created a DMP Online account you can create new plans from your dashboard. You can have multiple plans for different projects at any one time.
Creating a new plan is simple. You must choose a primary research organisation and a funder when you create a plan.
DMP Online will guide you through the creation of a data management plan by asking certain questions about your research project and its data. If your funder has particular requirements, these will be reflected in the question template provided by DMP Online.
Various funder templates are available to download in Word and PDF format from the DMP Online website, although you should always check with your funding organisation directly for their latest policies and guidance.
