The Peter Marsh Library is open for study 24 hours a day, 7 days a week during term time.
If arriving outside of staffed hours, please enter the Library via the Eagle Tower entrance (next to the Eagle Bistro).
You will need your UoB ID card to gain entry to the building. The virtual student ID in the MyBolton app does not work on the card reader at the door.
The Peter Marsh Library
The Peter Marsh Library is located on the main University campus. Access to the Library is via the Chancellor's Mall during staffed opening hours. If arriving outside of staffed hours, please enter the Library via the Eagle Tower entrance (next to the Eagle Bistro).
The Learning Resource Room at the IoM Building (Bolton Central) is open Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm. Staffed services are not available but Drop-Ins with an Academic Librarian will be available during the 2021-22 academic year. Drop-Ins will be publicised via Library News and our Twitter account. The Learning Resource Room also hosts academic skills events provided by peer mentors in the Institute of Management.
