The Bullen Collection

About the Collection

The Bullen Collection comprises around 380 items, including a variety of 19th-21st century books and pamphlets concerning the Lancashire Cotton Industry. This includes both published material and primary documents, with a strong social history focus, and is an excellent resource for those interested in the cotton industry in the local region.

This collection was donated to the University in 2018 by Andrew Bullen, a local historian and academic, and is currently under development thanks to funding from the Cotton Industry War Memorial Trust.
