Arts Council of England Provides information about the work of the Arts Council. A separate section is devoted to the visual arts.
Costume Society The Costume Society's aim is to promote the study of costume, its history, and preservation. The web site gives information on membership, forthcoming events, and publications.
Crafts Council The Crafts Council promotes contemporary crafts in Britain. The website provides information on exhibitions and events in Britain and abroad, and information on craft shops and galleries, by region.
Design Council This is the web site of the Design Council. It includes information about the Council and its current and future projects and events. There is also an online version of its journal, Design.
Royal Academy of Arts News and information about the organisation, its current and past exhibitions and its educational facilities.
Royal Photographic Society The official web site of the Royal Photographic Society, containing information about the society, its collection of photographs, and its publications.
Textile Institute The Textile Institute's web pages provide information about membership, publications, meetings and events.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is Google's academic search engine. It allows you to search for information published in journals and books, for example. It includes an increasing amount on open access material as well content that you would have to pay to access.

You can connect Google Scholar to the Library's holdings to make accessing full text articles easier.
