Dawsonera ebooks unavailable after 31st July

by Tim Leonard on 2020-07-22T13:23:00+01:00 | Comments

Unfortunately, our supplier Dawsons has gone into administration and this will affect the availability of ebooks on the Dawsonera platform. Don't worry! The vast majority of our 180,000 ebooks will not be affected - this will only affect fewer than 400 titles in total.

The Library is working on acquiring these titles by alternative means. Please be aware that all annotations made on the Dawsonera platform will be unavailable after the 31st July. If you've made any notes on Dawsonera ebooks and would like to retain access to them, please download them before this date.

To download your notes, go into the relevant Dawsonera title and look for the Notes tab on the left. Then click Export. Your notes will be exported as a text file.

Searching for the same title on Discover or the Library Catalogue will check if we have the same ebook from another supplier. If after the 31st of July you are having trouble finding a title that you previously accessed on Dawsonera, please contact us. You can email us via or chat online with a member of the Library team via our website Monday-Friday.

We will retain access to over 180,000 ebooks and are adding new titles all the time!
