Online Appointments with Academic Librarians now available!

by Tim Leonard on 2020-07-31T09:40:00+01:00 | Comments

Since the lockdown in March, the Library has been busy adapting our services to support our users remotely. We're very happy to now offer online appointments with our team of Academic Librarians! Appointments are held via Zoom and can last up to 40 minutes.  Cartoon of a woman using a laptop with a headset microphone

In an online Library Research Appointment you can:

  • Get help on finding resources on a specific topic
  • Learn how to make effective use of online library resources

Visit our booking page to make an appointment. Your booking will be assigned to the Academic Librarian who's available at that time. If you want to book with a specific member of the team, visit the profiles on our Academic Librarians page. Library Research Appointments will be available on a weekly basis but will be paused during Welcome Week and other busy induction periods.

Remember, for quick answers to your library-related questions you can use our Library Chat service, which is available via our website Monday to Fridays. Alternatively our Subject Guides and Frequently Asked Questions are full of useful information and links. But if you feel like you would benefit from a more in-depth discussion with a member of our team, please do book an appointment - we're looking forward to helping you!
