ScienceDirect - How to set personalized recommendations and alerts

To access ScienceDirect, log in with your University of Bolton username and password.

You can set up an additional Elsevier.com personal account that will enable you to see personalized recommendations based on your search history, and receive alerts about new research matching your interests. 

Register for a Elsevier account

An Elsevier.com account enables you to sign in and personalize ScienceDirect, Scopus and Researcher Academy. If you have already created an account on Scopus or Researcher Academy, there is no need to create an additional account on ScienceDirect; just log in with your existing Elsevier account details. 

If you have not yet created an Elsevier.com account you can register here. Or look for Sign In option on ScienceDirect, Scopus or Researcher Academy.
