Using Visible Body

Visible Body can be used on desktops and laptops using a range of web browsers. Follow the Visible Body Web Suite link from the Library website and create your account using your University of Bolton email address. See the Visible Body website for details of system requirements. 

Visible Body's Help Centre has guides for using the resources on a range of platforms, including PC, Android and iOS devices.

On each guide you'll find step-by-step instructions and videos, like this one for creating views on the Human Anatomy Atlas platform. 

Language and Accessibility Settings

Visible Body’s anatomy content is available in multiple languages, from the user interface to labels, definitions, and video subtitles. Users can switch languages easily using the language picker in the settings menu. In all Visible Body products, users can select a preferred text size, change the background colour on 3D views, and toggle closed captioning for animations.
