The Chancellor's Building lit up at night

We're pleased to announce that The Peter Marsh Library will be open for study space and self service 24 hours a day, seven days a week from Monday the 20th of September. Great news for all you night owls out there!

When visiting the Library at evenings and weekends, please enter via the Eagle Tower entrance (next to the Eagle Bistro).

You will need your University of Bolton ID card to enter the building (please note that the "virtual ID card" in the MyBolton app does not work on the external door card reader).

Staffed Library services

The Library Helpdesk will be open at the following times:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8:45am - 9:00pm
  • Friday: 8:45am - 5:00pm

At other times you can find a wide range of information and videos on our website, including our Get Started guide, Subject Guides and Frequently Asked Questions

At all other times the Library will be staffed by security staff only.

Finding the right study space for you

The different study zones in the Peter Marsh Library are clearly signposted.
