The University Library has a wealth of online textbooks available for students. There are over 200,000 books available in our online collection.

You can access all of the books via Discover@Bolton

or you can go direct to our ebook suppliers:

Search by topic or title. Login with your University username and password to access the content.

Additional ebooks

If you are looking for something extra, there are a couple of options for accessing academic content for free during the Corona Virus pandemic.

Vitalsource are allowing students to access up to 7 free textbooks (from a choice of thousands) until the end of June 2020. You must register and create an account using your University email and download the Vitalsource Bookshelf. Follow the instructions on the link above. Note that you cannot check books back in and swap for another - the first seven you click on are all that you are allowed.
